International students

There are a wide variety of qualifications which can prepare you for a career in osteopathy. We will look at applications on their own merit. Our can give you information about your own circumstances.

International qualifications

Applications are welcomed from international students and we accept a range of overseas qualifications. In general we look for A Level equivalent qualifications such as the International Baccalaureate, Science Baccalaureate, Abitur and Irish Leaving Certificate. Please contact Jordan or Shanaz in our directly so that they can give you advice on your eligibility based on your studies.

Applicants may be asked to provide an official translation of certificates when they are accepted onto the course.

Studying in a foreign language is very demanding. International students will need to provide proof of English Language proficiency. There are a range of qualifications in English Language, but we most commonly accept:

• International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) - with an overall band score of 6.0 or above, with at least 5.5 in each individual band; or
• American Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - with an overall score of 575 or above in the paper-based test or 232 or above in the computer-based test.
