The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides a general right of public access to all recorded information held by public authorities. The purpose of this Act is to ensure that all public authorities are clear and open about information held within their institutions. Under this legislation all public authorities are required to produce a Publication Scheme, in order to present all the types of information that are published on a regular basis by the institution.

As the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) is a registered charity and not a public authority, please note that the current legislation does not apply to the BSO, and the BSO is therefore under no legal obligation to respond to such requests.

Our annual report may be downloaded from here and we hope that our website gives a comprehensive overview of the BSO and its work.
